Stylized 3D Art for Strategy Games + Getting Started in the Industry

„In our presentation we will discuss how we filled a 3D strategy build-up game with landscape, buildings, and characters in a stylized manner, as well as showcasing how we approached all of this in Pioneers of Pagonia, the game we’re currently working on. We will present modeling, texturing and animation techniques and workflows that we use, and also go into detail with what kind of restrictions we have to work in the context of a top-down build-up game.
Additionally, we will provide some tips on how to get started in the industry from an artist’s perspective, how to present your work online and setup a convincing portfolio, as well as what to look out for when applying for jobs and which pitfalls to avoid. There will also be an opportunity to let us review portfolios.“
