Animation & Game
We all play an important part in giving something meaningful to the world – so why not choosing to stay real?
Red Tides creates an environment where we can talk openly about menstruation.
Red Tides is a 3D interactive animation that aims at starting period positive conversations and changing the way menstruation is represented in media.
Following the main character Lou on their journey to accepting their menstruation and being period proud, the player guides them through situations with which every menstruating person can relate to.
Designed with social media in mind, with a square format and minimalist, toy-like style, Red Tides wants to be a positive representation of periods in media.
