Bethkes‘ Escape is a 3D animated short about the three spectacular escapes of the Bethke brothers from the DDR to West-Germany.
The story begins when Ingo, the oldest of the brothers, and his younger brother Holger already escaped. The brothers sit in a pub after an unsuccessful attempt to rescue their brother Egbert from the DDR.
The two begin to entertain themselves, recapitulating their own escapes. After they realize that when working together, they can achieve anything, they decide to make a second attempt to save their brother.
