Mobile Rhythm Game

“Bass Chase” is a mobile-focused platforming and rhythm game developed in the Unity Engine. The gameplay consists of steering your hover-disc riding character around a long cylinder, which expands and contracts based on the music of your chosen track.
Obstacles, coins, and items are also spawned according to the lows, highs and beats of the current song. While platforming around the stage, the “beat-rack” at the bottom of the screen will begin to get populated with beat elements flying towards the center of the screen. Hitting the smartphone screen in the direction that they are coming from will yield the player points, depending on how close to the center / on beat the input was. These collected points will also fill up the combo meter, which will allow the collection of bonus coins, if the bonus meter is continuously raised and no inputs are missed.
