Animation & Game
We’re super happy to give you some insights on an interdisciplinary VR Workshop hosted by the Filmakademie Baden-Württemberg in Ludwigsburg, currently taking place in Lindau at the Bodensee. The teams will develop open format project ideas hovering around the building and exploration of either fictional or non-fictional worlds. But the best part is: luckily four of our Animation & Game students were asked to join the crew!
The whole workshop will climax in a Hackaton in late November where the developed concepts will be condensed and brought to the level of a prototype. Our Dieburg based participants will team up with students from the Filmakademie and create immersive VR or 360° experiences with the help of the two great techers Mads Damsbo from Makropol, Copenhagen and Raimo Lang from YLE, Finland.
We’ll cover the following days in this blog sharing our experiences and thoughts on working within these interdiciplinary teams of Documentary Film, TV Journalism or Scenic Film Directing people. We also have some students from the International Class around, joining us from Ruanda, Palestine and Israel.
We’re absolutely excited about what will happen in these next few days as we’re all packed in one youth hostel spending work and fun time together at this autumnly isolated location.
So stay tuned and follow us around as we develop our ideas and concepts, make new contacts and friends and put out our feelers to get to know completely new subjects.
See you soon!
